Change my hobby into work
at the new place and new industry.

Career of 5 months

Asami Makino

Belongs to administration department

In charge of accounting

I worked in the finance but decided to move to Arita Porcelain Lab as I was searching for a job that allows me to work closer to my hobbies such as Japanese calligraphy and Makie. I decided to depart where I lived for long, and started my new life in Arita to carry on my finance back ground.

The fusion of the good of the old days and innovation.

I found quite innovative when I first looked at the products of Arita Porcelain Lab. Because I used to think that Aritayaki is ponderous and old-fashioned till I found Arita Porcelain Lab modern products, which are appealing to the world. I found attractive how courageous they work for challenge without sticking to the idea from the old days. I would like to promote Arita Porcelain Lab products to be recognized by more people.

I would like to absorb like a sponge to contribute to the company and the land of Arita.

My occupation is accounting but since I move into different world, I try to feel myself close to the products by taking them in my hands. I felt anxious at the beginning if a stranger like me could be accepted, but everyone is warm and kind. I know almost nothing about porcrelain so I would like to absorb as much as I can like a dry sponge. I don't know how much I could contribute for Arita and the company, but this is my challenge.
