I'm working as a crafstman for more than 50 years since I got attracted to work for Aritayaki. I'm in charge of forming the products.

Manufacturing can not be realized alone, so I think it is important to accomplish his work.

Our work often needs to be helped or advised by someone else. So when my opinion matches someone else, I feel more fun to work. Accomplishment of work is what I cherish as a craftsman. Because this work can't be achieved alone, I think such backbone is required. It's not a big deal if one fail. The joy of success and the pain of trial and error are in fact connected. I believe that my work will always bring me pleasure if I work thoroughly.

I would like that young staff use the "wisdom of the elderly".

Arita Porcelain Lab is challenging more and more new ideas, even huge size products without fear. This is what I like most about this company. In order for us to improve further, I would like our young staffs to study more. The "wisdom of the elderly" is obviously lacking to the young people. So I think that young staff should take more advantage of it, for Arita Porcelain Lab to grow.
