Influenced by his father, he works for more than 20 years in Arira ware manufacture. He is now our deputy factory director and create Arita Porcelain Lab original products everyday.
I grew up watching my father working as Arita ware manufacturer, it came naturally that I wish to join this industry.
The important thing at work is to challenge anything. Don’t say "I can't" from the beginning, but "let's try". I always discuss with our president and my colleagues to find the solutions to realize the challenge. I would like to challenge everything.
Japan series are the fruits of countless trials of numerous colors and various tests.
I feel attached to products as the fruit of our ideas and efforts in developemnt. Sometime it takes more than 2 months to create the mold with our subcontractor. We need to discuss over and over to create the mold correctly that our pottery comes out well from the mold. It is always exciting to see the first products coming out of the kiln after their first firing. I feel special about the products as the fruit of my own opinion and feelings.

It is one of Arita’s oldest and largest-scale operating kilns.

taking advantage of the unique and techniques inherited in tradition of Yazaemon kiln, which evolved through countless trials.
