Our ceramics have been used for many years at the 2-star restaurant "Sur Mejour" in Paris (1st floor, Mandarin Oriental, Paris). This time, Executive Chef Thierry Marx came to Japan and held a special dinner in Collaboration with ARITA WARE and dishes using ingredients from Saga, sake from Koimari Sake Brewery, and Ureshino tea from Kawahara Chagyo.
In addition to Sur Mejour, Mr. Marx is a master of the French cuisine world, such as supervising the famous restaurant in the Eiffel Tower with Mr. Frédéric Anton, and also operating "Etoile du Nord" in the Gare du Nord station in Paris. . He is also a person who loves Japan deeply, as he is currently a 5th dan in Judo, which he learned from an early age.
Atsuko Koizumi, executive chef of the French restaurant "Thierry Marx" located at the Ginza 4-chome intersection in Tokyo, was in charge of the kitchen. Chef Koizumi worked for many years as the sous chef at "Sur Mejour" in Paris as Mr. Marx's right-hand man.
