Autumn gourmet food enjoyed on a tableware ~Tradition and innovation of ARITA WARE ~
At Hotel Gajoen Tokyo, a museum hotel of Japanese beauty, for a limited time from October 1st (Sunday) to November 28th (Tuesday), 2023, in collaboration with ARITA PORCELAIN LAB, three restaurants within the hotel will be open. We will be holding "Autumn gourmet food to enjoy in a bowl -ARITA WARE of tradition and innovation".
With the theme of "Autumn gourmet food enjoyed in a bowl," New American Grill "KANADE TERRACE" will offer course meals designed by head chef Satoshi Tada to match ARITA PORCELAIN LAB 's bowls. Tada himself visited Saga Prefecture and received an explanation from Tetsu Matsumoto, the 7th generation YAZAEMON, about the history and tradition of ARITA PORCELAIN LAB, as well as the modern vessels that express it in a new way. The ingredients used include Yobuko squid from the Genkai Sea and thick-boned Ariake chicken, which were locally tasted and purchased with the cooperation of the Saga Prefecture Product Distribution Design Corporation.
