Product Information
At the 120th Arita Pottery Fair (held April 29th (Mon) - May 5th (Sun), 2024),
We will be introducing mini parfaits that you can take home in containers, and will begin selling them in advance at our directly managed store cafes.
A mini parfait made with ARITA WARE. After you've eaten it, you can use it as a teacup or a small bowl.
[Concept and production background]
The design was created based on an auspicious motif of a bat.
Bats have many origins, such as the word "bat" meaning "happiness," the word "bat" being the same pronunciation as "fuku" (luck), and the word "bat" meaning "lots of babies," and are recognized as lucky charms.
The material used is a new ceramic clay called "Tenpaku," which has been successfully used to reduce the number of firings, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.
The matte white porcelain texture is topped with the Ko-Imari floral pattern, creating a sharp design.
The parfait ingredients are made from local Arita town and other Saga prefecture ingredients.
Green: Ureshino Matcha Mini Parfait
Black: Arita kumquat and rich chocolate mini parfait
Red: Saga Prefecture strawberry mini parfait
