ARITA PORCELAIN LAB x Food Space Producer Mai Yamano "~ Fresh Green Hospitality ~ Welcome to the Garden Party" Held from May 11th to 17th at Iwataya Main Store (Fukuoka)

A Collaboration project between ARITA PORCELAIN LAB and food space producer Mayumi Yamano was held from May 11, 2022 (Wednesday) to May 17, 2022 (Tuesday) at the promotion space on the 6th floor of the new building of the Iwataya Main Store. We will propose a dining table where you can admire the fresh greenery and blooming flowers suitable for May when the wind is fragrant, using the ARITA PORCELAIN LAB 's vessel. This time, the tableware series Secret Garden "Phalenopsis Orchid", which was designed and supervised by Maiyumi Yamano and completed by a painter who is familiar with Meissen style techniques through a firing process of 5 times or more, will produce "everyday extraordinary". Tea set. This will be the first show for the first time.

〇 Secret Garden "Unchangeable and New"

Ukiyo-e, which was once drawn on paper wrapped in ceramics when ARITA WARE porcelain was exported to Europe, shocked Europe, where perspective was the mainstream, and became a pandemic as Japonisme. With a Japonism-scented Meissen-style painting, Phalaenopsis orchid (Phalaenopsis orchid), which was also favorably drawn in the Japonism era, is drawn, proposing a new "quality living" that is fused with the luxury modern design of ARITA PORCELAIN LAB. To do.

This time, we asked the students of Table & Styling, which is run by the food space producer Maiyumi Yamano, to coordinate the table.

① Table coordination seminar by food space producer Mai Yamano

"Crossover style using ARITA WARE-Making everyday life extraordinary-"

〇Lecturer introduction Maiyumi Yamano

Presided over by Table & Styling. Food space producer. Japan Tea Association certified tea instructor. In charge of table coordination for the Nünchenburg booth at the 2017 Tokyo Dome Tableware Festival organizer exhibition. Table coordination at various department stores including Iwataya main store, Christofle Aoyama main store, Nishitetsu Suma GALLERY, Western Gas Gas Exhibition, J: com new overseas drama unveiling party table coordination and talk shows and seminars. Brands that have worked on styling include Wedgwood, Christofle, Royal Crown Derby, ARITA PORCELAIN LAB, and Fukagawa Seiji.

He is also active as an IWATAYA instructor.

Presided over the flower designer "Budo no Hana". We operate a salon with themes such as flower arrangements, table coordination, and Chinese tea that enrich your daily life by creating seasonal flowers, relaxing tea time and a comfortable space. He is also active as an IWATAYA instructor.

 

③ Information on painting demonstration by Masamichi Aoki》

You can see how ARITA WARE is painted with traditional European techniques such as the Meissen style.

This time, I was in charge of painting the tea set of the secret garden "Phalenopsis Orchid".

〇Lecturer introduction Mr. Masamichi Aoki

Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. Born in December 1967. Since 1994, he has been interested in Western porcelain painting (European porcelain painting), and after learning the basic technique of painting for two years in Tokyo, he studied painting in Munich, Germany from 1996 to 1997. Learn Meissen style painting techniques at the Meissen workshop in Munich and the workshop of a well-known porcelain artist. In June 1997, he started a painting class for all European styles, mainly Meissen style, in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo (Jiyugaoka). From 2002 to 2019, he was a painting instructor at Diners Club Culture Salon. As of 2022, we are developing European-style painting classes in Yokohama City, Azamino Class, Nagoya Class, Osaka Class, and Fukuoka Class, centering on Jiyugaoka Class in Tokyo.
